The buttons feel really nice, are quite quiet, and the mouse shape fits nicely in the palm. The movement of the mouse on surfaces is smooth and the Bluetooth connects really quickly. I haven't experienced any lag with pairing or mouse movement. Setting up is also very quick and easy. No USB dongle required, so it works great with my laptop that only has USB-C ports. The shortcut buttons can be programmed with HP's Accessory Centre and allows you to not just use the buttons alone, but with program buttons with movements too. So, it provides versatility in programming multiple functions for different apps/users. Negatives would be that at a glance, the plastic looks and feels a bit flimsy (it doesn't feel super cheap but it doesn't feel super high end either) but looking at the functions and ease of use, I think it's still very good value for money. I also like how the battery compartment works with mini magnets rather than those small plastic clips that are often prone to breaking
