Most importantly, they continue to deliver the best hands-free Google Assistant voice control you'll find in any pair of true wireless earphones. The A-Series sound just as good as last year's second-gen Pixel Buds, but cost half the price. At £99, you can more easily forgive the lack of active noise cancellation. The lack of wireless charging is a blow, with Samsung's Galaxy Buds+ including it for the same price, and the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1+ manages better sound isolation, and quality, for not much more. The deep Google Assistant integration is hard to beat, though. If you're looking to buy Google, this is the pair to go for.
