I require a action camera to film skydiving activities. After extensive research the go pro6 came up the best but the then price of ￡499 was off putting but the day after reduced to ￡399 so it was a no brainier. Image stability is amazing Video quality and sharpness does everything I need and more.

Love it. Great picture/video! Definitely do not regret this purchase.

Easy to Use

"Have mostly used the go pro hero 6 as a biking camera. Got some great shots in Wales and Lake District so far. Service was fast efficient and haven't got any bad words to say about it. "

Contacted go pro after the back screen on our go pro 6, bought two weeks ago and never used, wouldn't turn on. Followed the website instructions for updating firmware, formatting SD card, etc.

New to GoPro, purchased GoPro6 quick delivery, saved $73 from retail prices. I wasn't aware that the memory card didn't come with it. Must have accessories 1. Memory card 2. Dual battery charger set. I also got 3-way DVC & float handle. Slowly build on getting more accessories.

It's safe to say the Hero6 Black is the best action cam GoPro has made. That doesn't necessarily mean it's the right one for you though. The new shooting modes are excellent, particularly if you're shooting for the big screen or have a penchant for dramatic slo-mos. But they don't come completely without cost. You'll need some recent laptop or smartphone hardware to edit the clips and they do take a bigger toll on battery life than full HD shooting. Even if you don't need to shoot reels of 4K, though, the Hero6's improved image stabilisation, dynamic range and low light capabilities make it a tempting proposition over the cheaper Hero5. If you want the absolute best action cam around, and are prepared to pay the £100 premium over its competition, this is it.

GoPro has been the leader on action cameras from the very beginning, and its brand has attained a kind of Xerox-like omnipotence - despite the company's ongoing struggles in recent years.

A more expensive action camera with gorgeous slow motion.
