After watching the GN roundup of B550 boards, they came to the conclusion this was one of the best B550 boards in market at the time. Can vouch that ~6 months post installation, it is a great board that has had no issues at all to report. It runs cool, has great VRM cooling, includes plenty of fan ports, and SATA ports, albeit the later gets diminished if you use the 2 M.2 drive slot as they share bandwidth. This motherboard had everything I wanted as far as features, its up to date and I believe future proofed for upgrades ahead. There is one thing that I am disappointed with but its not a game changer, it is that the bottom two led strips on the board do not light up as they should. After some investigation I see that most Gigabyte B550 boards have the same problem. Apparently the plastic covering the LED's is coloured and not clear, thus not allowing the colours to show up properly. Once again its not a game changer...live with it.

After using it for a couple of months seriously I am in love with the board Gigabyte did an amazing job. No issues with the board. Love the number of USB ports, WiFi connectivity is amazing too. Spent a lot of time researching the right upgrade motherboard for a newer chipset than my previous B450. X570 actually had some drawbacks for me and I've also learned more development is going into B550 chipset so for now, X570 is more built for the longer-term future, something like that, just Google some comparisons between B550 and X570 Chipsets and you'll see, or just ask PBTech to explain.
