Garmin Vivofit 4 Black and White Bundle Small/Medium 010-01847-04 review

The Garmin Vivofit 4 introduces a color screen to the range, improves the design and comfort as well as offering unbeaten battery life. This won't suit those looking for lots and lots of fitness tracking features, but for the basics the Vivofit 4 is a great for your wrist.

Incredible battery life, A color screen, Low price

No GPS or heart rate, Lacks phone notifications, Sometimes difficult interface

Garmin Vivofit 4 Black and White Bundle Small/Medium 010-01847-04 review

Garmin's budget wearable is a surprisingly solid fitness tracker, but there's no reason to wear it all the time.

1-year battery life, Always-on display, Garmin Connect app works with other ANT+ trackers

No GPS or heart rate sensor, Bad sleep tracking, Bulky, unattractive strap

Garmin Vivofit 4 Black and White Bundle Small/Medium 010-01847-04 review

The Vivofit 4 is all about hitting the basics, and does so competently. The year-long battery life is a big pull and Garmin's MoveIQ exercise tracking works well, even if the lack of GPS means accuracy could be better for runners.

Hits most of the basics well, Year-long battery life, Automatic exercise detection

Garmin Vivofit 4 Black and White Bundle Small/Medium 010-01847-04 review

Given its specs versus cost, the Vivofit 4 makes for a compelling option in the fitness tracker category. It’s relatively inexpensive compared to other Garmin or Fitbit products if you’re not looking to drop hundreds of dollars on wearable tech.

No charging - yay

I bought this to replace a lost Vivofit 3. I am sticking with Vivofit as I love not having to worry about charging the battery all the time. The band with buckle is definitely an improvement. Only shortfall is not tracking swimming.

Battery lasting time

I Bought this over a year ago and the battery lasted at least 9 months and it was great up until then. During these 9 months I had swam with it on, went in the shower and also gotten it it wet multiple times. It died just when the 10th month hit and from then on it was just going downhill and even when I took it to the watch maker they couldn't fix it, After I went the final time this guy fixed it and said that actually they are not water proof and that I was lucky that it hadn't fully died on me. This is not to say it can't get wet at all, it is splash proof, so it can get a little wet but not fully. So just before you go swimming make sure you take it off or it will die and there is nothing you can do about it. Happychappy

my review

i was shocked to find that mine broke within 3 months of purchasing i have tried to replace the battery but it seems that nothing has worked i would still recommend this although my experience because i really enjoyed the watch when it was working. i do feel somewhat responsible as i lost the receipt and could not prove i bought it so i recommend keeping the receipt after purchasing the garmin. even though my not so great experience with this watch i still love it and have no regrets purchasing the garmin vivofit 4.

Good features for the 4th version

Purchased today - Feb 25, 2018. Was pleased to find similar features for this version of Vivofit. My only real concern is the wristband. I struggled to put it on, and am on the 3rd last hole ... the wristband really isn't long enough. Despite that, it's still an awesome product.

Great value, user friendly.

I bought this for my 8 year old but would suit any age. Easy to use and set up. Very robust and has a comfortable band.
