Purchased this Garmin sat-nav in July and it is perfect! Took a while to get used to it, but we travelled from Chester,toured down to Devon and Cornwall, then to Dorset. Very clear instructions and good sized screen. Recommended. The extra information on screen was very helpful.

The manufacture made good with a replacement. But there are quirks. Sometimes routes supplied are plain stupid. More than once the voice literately says TURN RIGHT when the visual clearly showed LEFT. The visual is more accurate.

I usually use my phone for directions, but lately it seems that using the phone's GPS system significantly drains the battery AND my data allowance. Finally decided to buy another Garmin (had one years ago) as I figured it would pay for itself and be a better deal than increasing my data allowance.

Small version, keys hard to punch #. Felt glass was too opaque. Color contrast bad. Upgraded made big difference.

Works great! Bluetooth feature a great help. Crutchfield was really good with timeliness in shipping and very friendly, conscientious people that made sure before shipping what was a gift, that's I actually ordered the item- to protect me from fraud.

I previous had two Garmins that I loved, but were stolen. The third Garmin I bought, Drive 61LM was a big disappointment and poor investment. I plugged it in to fully charge. The "GARMIN" word comes on, but never anything else. It just will not work. I did have it for awhile.

I got this for an upcoming trip to Montana and received it a couple of days ago and could not get it to find certain addresses whether entered manually with address or geo coordinates. Got on the phone with tech support at Garmin and that was a complete waste of time.
