Handles nicely, but its big

This has the feel of a professional level lens. Its well put together, everything falls to hand nicely and the image quality is excellent. It is, however, quite large - in fact bigger and heavier than Canons 70-200 f4, for which this is close comparator in terms of what it does.

Excellent lens, replacing my FF now.

This lens, as many have already noted is excellent. I stumbled across fuji about a year ago, when i got the xt10 for a trip. It came with the 18-55 zoom. I have a FF setup, pentax k1 with a number of primes and zooms including the Tamron 70-200 2.8.

Sturdy, well built

Exceptional. Have used on a few jobs now, and has never let me down. Sturdy, well built, smooth. Gorgeous photos, beautiful skin tones, great DOF bokeh, superb autofocus. Is very big on my X-E2, but doesn't bother me particularly. X-T1 will be better for it when it arrives!

REVIEW: Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R OIS WR Lens Review

This 2.8x telephoto zoom lens for Fujifilm X-series interchangeable lens cameras provides a field of view equivalent to a 75-210mm lens on a 35mm camera, and sports a fast constant f/2.8 maximum aperture, optical stabilisation and costs around £1200.

Fujifilm Fujinon XF 50-140 mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR

We would like to thank the Fujifilm Poland company for lending us the tested lens. You are also invited to get acquainted with our test procedure, described in the article "How do we test lenses?

solid and sealed casing made of metal; excellent image quality in the frame centre; good image on the edge of the frame; proper correction of the longitudinal chromatic aberration; negligible lateral chromatic aberration; no serious problems concerning spherical aberration; acceptable distortion,...

a bit too high astigmatism at 90 mm focal length; vignetting could have been a tad lower

A 25% better resolution 70-200mmF2.8 with a bit less Bokeh

Great for indoor and outdoor activities and portraits. Superb on near wildlife shots (wish Fuji would offer a 400mm with these capabilities someday).

Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Image is better than my Nikon 70-200mm, Nice Bokeh, OIS makes it the best lens for low light, Rugged, Smaller than a 70-200 f2.8..; Great travel lens, Strong Construction

Bokeh is more "buttery" on a FX 70-200 f2.8, Heavy

I sold my Canon 7d & 70-100 f2.8 II to purchase the Fujifilm X-T1 & this 50-140 f2.8. This 50-140 has amazing clarity. The image stabilization works flawlessly. I can't say if the focus speed is as fast as the Canon because I am still learning the X-T1 settings, but it certainly does a good job so...

Fujifilm Fujinon XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR

The 70-200mm full-frame zoom has long been the go-to choice for event photographers and serious enthusiasts. Fuji's mirrorless system is built around the APS-C sensor size, so its Fujinon XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR ($1,599.95) is the equivalent.

Sharp optics; Constant f/2.8 aperture; Image stabilization system; Rugged design; Teleconverter compatibility; Includes removable tripod foot and hood; Relatively compact

Pricey; Edge quality suffers when zoomed

The Fujifilm 50-140mm is an excellent lens like most of the other Fujinon lenses. I honestly had a hard time finding something that I didn't like. The only argument against the lens that many of you might consider is the size. If you read the review, you know where I stand on this issue.
