The Fuji VPB VPB-XT2 orVertical Power Booster Grip for X-T2 accepts two Fujifilm NP-W126 lithium ion batteries and attaches to the bottom of the X-T2 via the tripod bush. It also has pins that make an electric connection to the camera and that enables it to boost cameras speed in a number of ways.

For most serious photographers, there isn’t even a question about purchasing a battery grip. Fujifilm has gone over and above the industry standard by adding a ton of great features to their power booster.

This is an excellent grip, almost consider it one of the best out compared to the Canon and Nikon made ones I’ve had for their bodies. Lots of reviews out there for this, but one thing to repeat is this grip allows you to keep original battery in body when added.
