Great camera, Amazing images!

I own a Nikon DSLR with several lenses, but I wanted a small, light portable camera for travel and street or candid photography. I considered getting a mirrorless with changeable lenses, but decided to go with compact, simple, and portable. The optics in this Fuji are incredible!

Fujifilm X100F review: Only the price will put you off

While it's more than likely that you are aware of Fujifilm's mirrorless X-Series range of Compact System Cameras (CSCs), it might have escaped your attention that it also produces a number of X-Series compacts, too.

First-rate build quality; Superb image sharpness; Myriad features

Expensive; Not as pocketable as true compacts

Fujifilm FinePix X100

If you have the bucks and you want the best photo quality possible, the Fujifilm FinePix X100 delivers. But definitely try before you buy to make sure the focusing systems won't make you crazy.

Thanks to great photo quality; a clever hybrid viewfinder; and a cool; retro design; there's a lot to like about the Fujifilm FinePix X100

Sluggish performance; especially for such a high-priced camera; and a frustrating navigation control make shooting with the camera a lot less fluid than it should be

Fujifilm FinePix X100 Review

The Fujifilm X100 is here, offering DSLR-like image quality and noise performance in a decidedly un-DSLR-like package. The classic rangefinder look is smart and relatively compact, at least compared to the typical DSLR. Materials, fit and finish are quite good.

Very good images; color; Great features for serious shooters; Useful hybrid viewfinder

Cost; Slow write times; AF average to a bit slow

Fujifilm X100F review

The X100F takes Fujifilm's high-end compact series into its fourth generation, building upon the previous X100T with the latest 24 Megapixel X-Trans III / APSC sensor and additional controls.

Good-looking, fairly compact body with lots of controls, Great quality out-of-camera; Industry-leading JPEG engine, Innovative hybrid viewfinder with optical and electronic views, Fixed 23mm f2 lens perfect for general and street photography, Leaf shutter is quiet and supports fast flash sync speeds

No stabilisation; Limits usefulness for video, Lens soft at close focusing distances, No 4k video, and 1080p limited to 15 min clips, Screen doesn't tilt and isn't touch-sensitive

With a 23mm F2 fixed lens (35mm equivalent) and a 24.3-megapixel APS-C size X-Trans CMOS III image sensor, the first thing you'll notice about the is its retro stylings. The X100F is simple and elegant.

Outstanding image quality in all types of scenes; Minimal noise in photos shot at high native ISO settings; Prime f/2 lens produces very sharp detail in images; 91-point AF mode is upgrade over X100F's predecessor; Full manual control modes; including manual focus; available; New image processor...

Camera's operational aspects are a little quirky; it takes some practice to use this model efficiently, Lack of a mode dial may confuse some photographers at first, Combination shutter speed/ISO dial is odd, but it's functional once you get the hang of it, Prime lens is sharp and fast, but has no...

Fuji X100 Digital Camera Review

Are there better cameras that cost less than the $1199 price tag? I'm sure there are. But there aren't many that can match the sturdy build, good looks, and great performance in such a package smaller than a digital SLR.

+ Looks great; + Feels great; + Smaller than a full-size digital SLR

- More expensive than your ordinary digital camera, - No zoom; can't change lens, - If you want a petite camera, look elsewhere, - No auto-intelligent-preprogrammed-whizbang features, - If you take a lousy picture, you only have yourself to blame

REVIEW: Fujifilm Finepix X100

Not quite as flexible as a DSLR, nor as user friendly as a standard compact, the Finepix X100 is a bit of an anomaly in the digital camera market. It's lovingly designed, and its hybrid viewfinder may well prove to be a sneak-peek at the future of high-end snappers, not to mention the sheer quality...

Back in September 2010 Fuji announced the X100, the first in a new line of retro-styled premium compacts. It featured a sharp 23mm prime, an APS-C sensor, and a very portable body, which made the camera a huge hit with enthusiasts who wanted to fit DSLR quality into an inside jacket pocket.
