This camera takes beautiful photographs with amazing clarity for a point-and-shoot. The color reproduction is incredible - much better than my mirrorless DSLR which has that typical cool washed out lifelessness of standard digital cameras regardless of price-point or white-balance setting.

Despite taking it up as a "option" (now there is an old term for you) when I was at school, to be honest photography has always alluded me. I'm very much a point and click kind of guy, I like a camera to focus for me, and essentially be a perfect shot.

A great camera for hiking, city walking, or on vacation. Easy to use for a beginner, but it packs a great feature set that experts will love (despite its convenient size). The design and build on this camera are impeccable.

Unlike the bulky DSLR, I can take Fuji X100 with me anywhere I go. The sensor-lens combo produces excellent image quality, better than most DSLR I used. Handling takes time to get used to. Prime lens is wonderful. I don't find myself missing the wide-angle, since there is panorama mode.
