A little retro and a little modern, the X100F is a magical camera
I am purchase Fujifilm Finepix X100 camera and it is so good clarity . the more function are available in Fujifilm Finepix X100 camera ."The Fujifilm FinePix X100' design makes for an appealing purchase, and with impressive image results it's a fantastic high-end compact camera companion.
This review of this Camera is currently available only as a low-resolution pdf version of the original magazine pages.
The Fujifilm FinePix X100 is no ordinary compact. Made for the high-end market, this retro-looking, magnesium alloy beast is built around a large 12.3-megapixel APS-C sized sensor and fixed 23mm F/2.0 lens (that's 35mm in equivalent terms). There's no zoom to be found here.
Great image quality; unique design; great build quality; ingenious viewfinder
Not the fastest AF; some macro focus issues; expensive; not for the mass market
To be honest, I was not planning on writing a review of the Fuji X100 camera. First, because the camera was sent to me in error. As I was preparing to send it back, I was asked if I wanted to try it out, so I agreed to check it out and ended up shooting with it for a week.
Despite taking it up as a "option" (now there is an old term for you) when I was at school, to be honest photography has always alluded me. I'm very much a point and click kind of guy, I like a camera to focus for me, and essentially be a perfect shot.
As advanced or as simplistic as you want it to be
Almost impossible to understand manual
Unlike the bulky DSLR, I can take Fuji X100 with me anywhere I go. The sensor-lens combo produces excellent image quality, better than most DSLR I used. Handling takes time to get used to. Prime lens is wonderful. I don't find myself missing the wide-angle, since there is panorama mode.
The X100 is a truly pioneering camera that has brought retro styling back to market in a big way. Though retro styling aside the real beauty of the X100 is that it offers the market a relatively inexpensive rangefinder camera that delivers incredible image quality from a large APS CMOS sensor.
The Fujifilm X100 is here, offering DSLR-like image quality and noise performance in a decidedly un-DSLR-like package. The classic rangefinder look is smart and relatively compact, at least compared to the typical DSLR. Materials, fit and finish are quite good.
Very good images; color; Great features for serious shooters; Useful hybrid viewfinder
Cost; Slow write times; AF average to a bit slow
This 12 megapixel APS-C format camera stands out for its striking retro style and construction quality. The heavy, brushed metal body is luxurious and the placement of the shutter speed dial on the body top and the aperture ring around the lens is classic camera ergonomics.
This camera not only feels right to anyone brought up on classic 35mm film cameras it also delivers the goods in excellent images with good colour, sharpness and dynamic range; The lens is outstanding and the viewfinder simply brilliant
The only thing that may hold the X100 back in the market place is the non-interchangeable lens; 23mm on an APS-C sensor is moderate wide-angle and won't be to everyone's liking, even if it is optically dazzling
