The camera market has certainly shown signs of growth over the last two years or so with the launch of many new power performers. The latest in the world of cameras is the all new Fujifilm FinePix X100, which is definitely a camera but can rather be considered as an oddball.

Review: Fujifilm X100F

Fujifilm's fixed lens flagships seem to get better with every generation, and the series' fourth member (hence the "F") is here to stake its claim as the world's most desirable travel camera.

Fujifilm X100F review

The X100F takes Fujifilm's high-end compact series into its fourth generation, building upon the previous X100T with the latest 24 Megapixel X-Trans III / APSC sensor and additional controls.

Good-looking, fairly compact body with lots of controls, Great quality out-of-camera; Industry-leading JPEG engine, Innovative hybrid viewfinder with optical and electronic views, Fixed 23mm f2 lens perfect for general and street photography, Leaf shutter is quiet and supports fast flash sync speeds

No stabilisation; Limits usefulness for video, Lens soft at close focusing distances, No 4k video, and 1080p limited to 15 min clips, Screen doesn't tilt and isn't touch-sensitive

Fujifilm Finepix X100 Camera Review

The Fujifilm Finepix X100 is designed like a classic viewfinder camera yet it offers state-of-the-art digital technology and some brand new and innovative systems. The Hybrid viewfinder, for example, is an example of a sophisticated enhancement of a classic concept.

The X100f is a great camera, no doubt. But so is the X100t, at a lower cost. And for my personal style of shooting I prefer the X70. With that said I still can see why you would/should go for the X100f. Good morning coffee selfie. Crazy amount of push in the shadows for this one.

Great camera, Amazing images!

I own a Nikon DSLR with several lenses, but I wanted a small, light portable camera for travel and street or candid photography. I considered getting a mirrorless with changeable lenses, but decided to go with compact, simple, and portable. The optics in this Fuji are incredible!

Fujifilm X100F

The Fujifilm X100F is simply a joy to shoot with, experts say. Beautifully retro and refreshingly simple, the X100F has a fixed 35mm-equivalent lens that delivers gorgeous images straight out of the camera, even in low light.

Retro rangefinder styling; Outstanding image quality; Robust manual controls; Fits in a jacket pocket; Full 1080p HD video

No built-in zoom; No image stabilization

I've always had a soft spot for the Fuji X100 series and despite its imperfections, it is still my favourite camera from the brand to date. So even though I knew I would be reviewing more or less the same camera once again, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the X100F – the fourth iteration in...
