Fitbit Versa 2 SE Smoke Woven FB507GYGY review

I wore the Fitbit Versa 2 for more than a week and I enjoyed it. The Versa 2 is no doubt an improvement over the original Versa, especially on the display and battery front. All that said, it would be hard to recommend the Versa 2 to an iPhone user, given the Apple Watch Series 3 is selling for Rs...

Fitbit Versa 2 SE Smoke Woven FB507GYGY review

Alexa is the star of the show here, but it’s the small improvements in the design and software that really make the Versa 2 feel like a leap ahead. There are bugs that need fixing, particularly with Alexa, and some people will simply want something more stylish.

Rounder; curved design; Alexa’s handy (when it works); Fitbit Pay on all models

Fitbit Versa 2 SE Smoke Woven FB507GYGY review

A solid all-rounder with enough smartwatch and fitness capabilities for most people, with a killer battery life to boot

Great screen; Superb battery life; Solid fitness/sleep tracking; Extremely comfortable; NFC payments; Alexa smart assistant

No GPS; Changing certain settings via the app can be tedious

Fitbit Versa 2 SE Navy/Pink Woven FB507RGNV review

Fitbit’s sequel to the popular Versa is affordable, lasts a long time, and doubles as an effective fitness tracker as well as a smartwatch, though a lack of built-in GPS is a detriment.

Attractive and comfortable design; Alex integration feels useful; Long-lasting battery without Always On Display

Finicky connectivity; Unintuitive OS

Fitbit Versa 2 SE Smoke Woven FB507GYGY review

On paper, the Fitbit Versa 2 is a compelling upgrade over its predecessor. It features a bigger, better display, useful Alexa integration and refined software. It still lasts days longer than Samsung and Wear OS watches and looks pretty, to boot.

Attractive and comfortable design; Alexa integration feels useful; Accurate sleep-tracking; Long-lasting battery without Always On Display

Finicky connectivity; Unintuitive OS

Fitbit Versa 2 SE Smoke Woven FB507GYGY review

The Fitbit Versa 2 is a solid smartwatch-come-fitness tracker that will meet most casual or newbie gym goers' needs. However, the lack of an in-built GPS and a lacking developer app store will stop it appealing to serious athletes and dedicated smartwatch users.

Decent battery life; Good screen for the price; Alexa support

No inbuilt GPS; No local Spotify playback

Fitbit Versa 2 SE Smoke Woven FB507GYGY review

The Fitbit brand is everywhere. If you wear an Apple Watch today, chances are you wore a Fitbit before it. And even if you've never worn a Fitbit you probably know what it is, having seen it on dozens or hundreds of other wrists.

Fitbit Versa 2 review: smart fitness tracker, dumb smartwatch

Fitbit's name has been synonymous with fitness trackers since its inception. But for the past few years, the company has also been branching into the smartwatch world to compete with the likes of the Apple Watch and Samsung's wearable lineups.

Comfortable; lightweight design; Week-long battery life; Screen is bright and easy to see outdoors; Great fitness and sleep-tracking features; Voice replies are handy for Android users

Changing straps is still a huge chore; despite the quick-release pins; Always-on display is too simple and not customizable enough; Alexa integration is clumsy and largely pointless; Smartwatch productivity features are lacking

Fitbit Versa 2 SE Smoke Woven FB507GYGY review

If you want a blend of fitness tracking and smart functions all within the Fitbit ecosystem, the Versa 2 is a great option

Great display; battery life

Fairly limited smart functions; harder to swap wristbands; Fairly limited smart functions; harder to swap wristbands

Fitbit Versa 2 SE Smoke Woven FB507GYGY review

The Versa 2 is a solid tracker, now with an enhanced screen and Alexa, but there are better options available at its price

The design has been improved compared with the Versa, with a larger AMOLED screen that you can set to be always-on, and the Fitbit logo removed from the front of the watch; Despite the new screen, the battery life is still good enough that you’ll only have to charge the Versa 2 after two to three...

The screen is not bright enough to see easily when outside, which becomes more of an issue when running or cycling; Spotify support is limited to controlling playback from the app on your phone – you can’t sync playlists to the Versa 2 to play offline.
