Fitbit Inspire HR review

Fitbit’s spring 2019 lineup includes four devices: The entry-level Fitbit Inspire, the HR-equipped Inspire HR, the kids Ace 2, and the affordable Versa Lite smartwatch. The latter is for those who want an affordable smartwatch, but it’s the Inspire HR that stands out the most for its sub-$100 price tag. That’s one of the lowest prices we’ve seen to date from Fitbit for a fitness tracker with an optical heart rate sensor. The low-cost Inspire HR is basic, but it kept surprising us with how well it can stand up to the everyday activities in the life of someone who’s active. The Inspire HR replaces the aging Fitbit Zip and the popular Alta/Alta HR in Fitbit’s lineup. On the inside and out, the tracker is basically a slimmed down and spruced up version of the Fitbit Charge 3. The fitness tracker is curved for comfort and is so slim you hardly even notice it’s on your wrist. It retains Fitbit’s iconic look with rounded edges that give it a modern feel, along with a lightweight plastic casin...

I have worn the Alta HR for over 2 years now and really loved it. I thought I would upgrade to the Inspire HR because I can wear it in the pool. First off, my battery barely lasts 2 days (my Alta easily lasted 5 or more) and secondly, the majority of the time it doesn't notify me of texts or calls...

Does not accurately track HR during vigorous exercise

This device has a known problem with getting accurate heart rate measures when exercising vigorously. They provide guides at the website to help (making the band looser, moving it 2-3 finger widths from the wrist bone, constantly wiping away sweat that gets near the sensors, etc.

I have bought this the very first day and I'm now returning the product. I noticed wrong infos about activities (I was just changing when the watch told me "what a beautiful walk!" ). I noticed a huge difference in the cardiac rythm between pro detector at my gym, and the watch.

Fitbit Inspire HR - Black FB413BKBK review

Fitbit's Inspire HR is an entry-level fitness tracker that covers the basics of health and fitness tracking, but is otherwise underwhelming. Fitbit designed the Inspire and Inspire HR for people who are new to fitness tracking and looking for a motivational device.

Slim, lightweight design, Accurate sleep-tracking, Affordable

Small display, No automatic run-pausing

Fitbit Inspire HR

Apple may be dominating the wearable space, but Fitbit isn't far behind. Long before Apple even made smartwatches, Fitbit made fitness trackers for all types of people who would like to become healthier or advance their training to the next level.

Refined; lightweight design with interchangeable bands; Swimproof and tracks swimming; Responsive touchscreen; On-device Exercise app along with SmartTrack auto tracking; Accurate heart rate monitor; Connected GPS

Limited number of watch faces; Limited smart features; Shorter battery life than Alta HR; No altimeter; Still no Apple Health integration

The Fitbit Inspire HR is a fantastic fitness tracker. If you're in need of an inexpensive fitness tracker that doesn't skimp on too many features, the Inspire HR is it.

Low price point Small; lightweight design Accurate fitness; health; and sleep tracking Connected GPS is a nice addition

Design is a little bland Terrible proprietary charging cable

Fitbit Inspire HR Activity Tracker In-Depth Review

The reality is that the Inspire HR is more or less just another Fitbit. It doesn't do anything super unique that any other previous Fitbit didn't do. Except, now it's cheaper. And that's a good thing.

Fitbit Inspire HR review

This latest tracker is more affordable than the fitness bands it replaces within Fitbit's range and it comes sporting more tech than those older products too. It isn't the most affordable tracker on the market, but everything works well here and it's a great option if you're looking to start...

Premium design; Lots of tracked metrics; Strong battery life

No Fitbit Pay; Screen can be unresponsive; Large bezel
