Does not accurately track HR during vigorous exercise

This device has a known problem with getting accurate heart rate measures when exercising vigorously. They provide guides at the website to help (making the band looser, moving it 2-3 finger widths from the wrist bone, constantly wiping away sweat that gets near the sensors, etc.

Fitbit Inspire HR review: The new fitness tracking king

The Fitbit Inspire and Inspire HR consolidate Fitbit's cheaper fitness tracker devices into two models, making the decision of which Fitbit to buy a far simpler task. Of the two Inspire models, the HR model offers a lot more features for only £20 extra - and those features make for an excellent...

Value for money; Waterproofing; Plenty of features; Great performance; Good OLED screen; Slim and discreet; Fitbit app is excellent

Plastic build; Thicker casing than Charge 3 can make it slightly uncomfortable; Display should be more dominant within the design

Fitbit Inspire HR review

This latest tracker is more affordable than the fitness bands it replaces within Fitbit's range and it comes sporting more tech than those older products too. It isn't the most affordable tracker on the market, but everything works well here and it's a great option if you're looking to start...

Premium design; Lots of tracked metrics; Strong battery life

No Fitbit Pay; Screen can be unresponsive; Large bezel

Fitbit Inspire HR Review

Fitbit has launched two models under the Inspire name, the standard Inspire and the higher-end Inspire HR reviewed here. Unsurprisingly, the big difference is the inclusion of Fitbit's famed PurePulse heart rate monitor on the more expensive model.

Water-resistant to 50m; Touchscreen display; Sharp and easy to read display; More usable smartphone notifications; Comfortable strap

No altimeter; Only basic swim tracking; Limited number of custom watch faces; Big bezel around the screen feels like wasted space

Fitbit Inspire HR: Fitbit's best-ever value tracker

So it really depends what you're looking for. If all you're after is a smart fitness band to track your steps, sleep and general fitness level, the Fitbit Inspire HR is an easy recommendation. It looks good and is competitively priced.

Competitively priced; Stylish; Legendary Fitbit app and community

Sometimes fiddly; Not brilliant for mid-run stats

Easy to use

This is the first time that I have had this type of heart rate and exercise monitor. It's comfy, easy to use, the app has many more things on it than I will ever use but the inspire is perfect for what I need so far The battery lasts 3-4 days but I have only been using for a month so will see how it...

Really easy to set up and use. It charges in the blink of an eye to be fair and it's pretty accurate. It does pick up the odd spurious movement as a step but hey, it's still activity. Only qualm is that the screen scratches really easily so if there's a case or screen guard then do get one.

Faulty

I love the look of the tracker and the quality. However I am just in the process of returning the same. Unfortunately the tracker resets itself at random times of the day which is really annoying as I like to see how many steps I have done at the end of the day.

An affordable Fitbit – Fitbit Inspire HR Review

Fitbit Inspire HR is a budget-friendlier Fitbit tracker, perfect for those who have not owned a Fitbit yet (also a great birthday or Christmas gift). It only has one hard button and a vertical swipe motion, but it's the most newbie-friendly Fitbit tracker and the most affordable Fitbit at the moment...
