Great for kids!

My son is 9 years old and is the size of an 11 year old and it fits great with loads of room. He loves it and loves the compete with us on challenges. Definitely a great buy, we got it the day it released and he's even got in the bath three times with it on and forgot and it still works great!

Fitbit Ace 2

Built with the intention of making sure your young ones are as active as possible, the Fitbit Ace 2 improves on the previous model with a more eye-catching design, better screen and improved water resistance. To top it all off, it's slightly cheaper than the original, too.

Colorful design; Changeable straps; Swim-proof

Feels a bit cheap; Still somewhat expensive for what it is; App can be fiddly to set up

Fitbit Ace 2 review

The Fitbit Ace 2 is designed especially for younger children. It's a well-priced if basic activity tracker. It lacks the more advanced health measurements you'll find on the pricier Fitbits but it has enough to motivate a family to up their exercise.

Fitbit Ace 2 review: A revamped fitness tracker for kids

Ultimately the Fitbit Ace 2 is a good evolution of the Ace. The new design protects it a little more, waterproofing is an important addition, it's more customisable and easier for younger children to put on and off - but that important sensor module could do with being a little more secure.

Bigger display does more; Adds timer and stopwatch; Waterproofing; Strap easier to undo; Parents stay in control

Battery life should be longer; Not securely fixed into strap

Fitbit Ace 2 review: A revamped fitness tracker for kids

A welcome refresh that's more appealing to children. We think the module should be more substantially held within the strap, but the addition of a more engaging display and waterproofing makes this a better device than the previous version.

Bigger display does more; Adds timer and stopwatch; Waterproofing; Strap easier to undo; Parents stay in control;

Battery life should be longer; Not securely fixed into strap;

Fitbit Ace 2 Review

The Ace 2 is the follow-up to Fitbit's first kids' fitness tracker, the Ace. It's designed for a wider range of children (ages six and up as opposed to eight), at a lower price that parents will appreciate ($69.95; $30 less than before). Although it tracks the same metrics as its predecessor—step count, active minutes, hourly movement, and sleep—it's more durable, easier to use, and has a more versatile design. It's a healthy and motivational way to make sure your kids are staying active. It earns our Editors' Choice as the best childrens' fitness tracker you can buy. The Inspire In Disguise To create the Ace 2, Fitbit has essentially taken the Inspire and tucked it into a new wristband. The beauty here is that when kids outgrow it, they can swap it out with Inspire accessories rather than purchase a completely new wearable. Fitbit Ace 2 Review

The Fitbit Ace 2 is a kid-friendly fitness tracker with fun animations to keep them hooked.

Colorful; kid-friendly; and replaceable bands; Animated watch faces; Swim-proof; Motivating goals; badges and trophies

Tracker is prone to falling out of the band; Annoying to switch between child and parent view in Fitbit app; Display prone to scratching

Fitbit released the original Ace as a fitness tracker for kids last year in a bid to tap into the older child market, and with childhood obesity growing every year it is something that should be a growing market.
