4 Star Overall

With so many different types of shredders out there, it was conceivably difficult to select one over the other. Most machines have similar features as well. A feature on this unit is that there's the auto-safety which prevents the shredder from jamming up.

Excellent shredder and excellent service

Ordered a shredder for our school (last one died!). Collected it quickly and easily from my local Sainsbury's who have an Argos inside. Shredder does exactly what it says it does and service at the counter was excellent. Couldn't have been better buying my shredder!!!!!

already dead

I've been using this shredder for less than two months and now it appears to be totally dead. No idea what happened - no power, no response. Will contact B&H in the morning but beware. It's a big heavy item to box up and ship back...total drag.

Good Quality Shredder

I am very impressed with thus shredder. I ordered one for our small office a week ago and we love it! We had an older Fellowes shredder model and it stopped working on us. I decided to still stick with the Fellowes brand by ordering something similar, which is the Powershred 73Ci model.

Seems to be a very well made shredder with a display to indicate whether or not you're overloading it. Can't rate durability at this time but expect it to be very good given the initial quality.

I used to buy the cheap shredders and throw them out when they burnt out. For the price of this I should have purchased this Fellows powershred 73ci a long time sfo and would have saved a bundle. Has never overheated and will shred credit cards and cds. The entire family uses it and it is very safe.
