We did a lot of research when it came to buying our new washer and dryer, and after reviewing all the other equivalent models from the other brands, we couldn't find anything that matched the level of quality and number of features at this price point.
Quiet, efficient and plentiful modes
This is a great dryer and gentle on clothes. This replaced another heat pump dryer which often left my clothes feeling a bit wet. I mostly dry on 'half sun' setting and they come out completely dry and so far no shrinkage. You do have to experiment a bit with the correct settings, but no big deal and I now have my favourite settings. I don't use my clothes line much since getting the Electrolux which saves me loads of time. My last heat pump dryer didn't cost much to run, and I will monitor if there is much change with the Electrolux. Sturdy, well built and although I don't use the drying rack much, it has came in very useful to dry my kids gym shoes.
I started using the product a month ago and am not happy with it because it takes a long time to dry the clothes. I put approximately 6-7 kgs of clothes in it and it takes more than 2 hours to dry and even after that there will be 2-3 garments like shorts or pyjamas that are wet/moist and need to be air dried. I am not liking the product. It has been frustrating given it is raining on most days.
The Electrolux 9kg heat pump dryer is awesome. It is extremely quiet, gentle on clothes leaving them feeling fresh, it has a large door making it easy to load and unload and let’s you know when it’s finished and when the water needs to be emptied via wifi.
A great pairing with the washer. Super quiet and efficient. Never had an issue.
