Weapon of a vacuum, I upgraded from a DC59 Animal from 4 years ago and I can highly recommend this unit. This will replace your corded vac with no worries. The attachment cache is also huge and is great for the car too!

I wasn't at all sure about cordless before buying this but have now changed my mind. I've done the whole house (3-bedrooms) twice on the same charge. (If you set it to maximum power all the time the charge is used up much quicker and it doesn't need it as the suction on the two lesser power buttons...

Did a lot of research and thinking before taking the plunge to spend this much money on a vacuum - glad I took that plunge! Have been through disappointing vacuums that promise to pick up pet fur but did not deliver. This one goes above and beyond.

I ordered this vacuum for my best friend & she is so excited & happy with it. She loves how easy it is to change the different attachments & how it can go from a long use to a short use for stairs etc. It's easy to empty feature is very impressive to & stops a lot of struggling & spilt dust etc.

As a vacuum it's awesome

As a rechargable tool it's pitiful; The battery is not interchangeable nor does the unit work while plugged in... This leaves the user stranded, Dyson needs to offer a better battery or a second vacuum head at a much lower price; Motorized attachments aren't gonna do anything without power.

Have had this for nearly 2wks overall very powerful but would have liked it to run for longer on full power, also l find that removing the wand to empty the container very nearly impossible to do as very stiff and awkward. Overall an improvement on previous models but as they say " could do better "

Purchased this vacuumed cleaner for the second time as I gave my first purchase to my mum who is 97. It was a recommendation of my sister in law. As with all Dyson products, it is well made and easy to use. It's light and easily stored with a very powerful motor so would be ideal for pet owners.

From what we've seen so far, it looks like Sir James is right. The days of needing to use a corded vacuum cleaner are officially over.
