Beautiful monitor but Mac users beware.

Bought this monitor to run my MacBook Pro in clamshell mode. The monitor itself is designed beautifully, has non-existent bezels, light and thin body, literal plug-and-play using USB-C. However the USB-A ports on the monitor itself does not work with MacOS as Dell does not certify compatibility with Mac. It only supports Windows as of now, meaning that all of the USB-A ports on the monitor does not give power and data even though I have correctly connected my monitor to my MacBook via USB-C. It is disappointing but I guess part of the blame is to myself as I should have did more research into OS compatibility prior to purchasing.

Fantastic Work Station Monitor

I got this monitor as an upgrade for my office set up, the size is great build quality a very nice and looks very sleek indeed. having a Type C that can charge phones, drives and a Laptop as well as being able to use it as a display connection for my MacBook is a real bonus. The addition of the USB's in easy to reach places that also act like a hub is very nice. I am considering getting another to increase work flow by having it in portrait mode all the time. Very happy A+++ as work station monitors go.
