i had an inspiron 15 before this one and the picture was better on the old one and it had facial recognition .. This inspiron apparently does not have an integrated webcam good enough for facial recognition

Product looks nice and sleek, but seems to be heavier than I thought. But the worse part is it blacks out every now and then when you try to use Google Chrome, and have to either force restart (if that works), if not have leave for few hours till it goes back to normal. Not sure if I am not using it right way. Had a look at google reviews, lot of people had same issues.

Microphone does not capture background sound such as instruments. Dell support is vexing to say the least, had to repeat the problem 3 times to different social media team members who did not bother to read the chat transcripts. They expected me to change BIOS settings but sent wrong video instructions. They also expect me to do a clean OS install, a retrograde from Win11 to Win10. Overall not impressed. Problem yet to be resolved.

Bought this computer for my daughter to start high school with. seems like a very good buy so far.

I just bought the laptop 3 weeks ago for $1800 and now I see the price is $1300, that's a massive $500 difference which I feel is a massive money loss, and doubt the product is good when there is a such a big price drop. I hope you can do something?
