Overpriced and Badly designed operating panel

After looking at the many good reviews of this costly heater I decided to buy one, when I received it I was a little confused at the on and off switch ? which is a little tiny pin like switch no bigger than a match head.. this i found to be ridiculous !! The other Delonghi Dragon 4 heaters i looked at on line where different, having a proper easy to see and much larger on/off switch plus a more user friendly operating panel. I bought the wrong one, not happy with it, maybe it's an older model ? Hope this review helps

Delonghi Dragon 4 Column heater

I bought this Delonghi dragon 4 heater for our daughter, her unit is brick and cold. Much better than the reverse cycle , heat radiates lower around the room. Takes a while to heat up, but is cosy. Safe, but does become hot on the outside of the unit. Care needs to be taken with children Incase they touch the outside of heater. So far, it’s been a success. Was a little disappointed , as there were two small dints on the outer end columns, maybe done in transit,as had come in a truck from NSW. So far it hasn’t impaired the operation of the heater.

Takes the chill out of the air

Bought it about 1 month ago, used it that night and whilst we had it cracked up to high all round it wasn’t hot in the room, just took the chill out of the air. Used it a few more times since then with similar results. Room is a little large but thought it would have worked better. Easy to set up and get going. The timer is nice but not overly easy to use.
