Great beginner drone

I’ve had this drone a month now, heaps of fun! Definitely a drone that needs to be flown indoors or during times of low wind if using outdoors. With the 3 batteries you have enough juice for some serious fly time!

Great beginners drone

Anyone that would like to learn to be a drone pilot. This is the one for you. Make sure you also get the Tello controller as it is harder to fly with the mobile app.

Awesome beginner drone

I wanted to buy a good (more expensive) drone for filming and photos on a trip we are planning. A friend suggested getting a cheap drone to learn to fly first. So I did some research and the Tello looked like the best option. As HN had the boost combo on sale I jumped at the chance to get it. Having never flown a drone before I was able to fly the Tello easily straight away. It wasn't too long before I was flying like an expert. The best part is that it takes awesome photos and pretty good video. The only thing to remember is that it is only small so it can't fly in wind and it is best flown in good daylight due to the ground sensors. By far the best value for money drone to learn to fly with as the DJI technology makes it fly like a more expensive drone and will hold position and height well.

Buy the boost combo, its worth it!

This drone is something you can fly for ages without getting bored. It is my first drone and I love it! Easy to fly, fun to use, one of the best things I’ve bought. If you are going to buy the drone, I recommend getting this boost combo you can fly the drone for ages with the three batteries and you can charge the other batteries while you are using the drone. The camera is decent quality and you can get some really nice shots.i recommend using the prop guards if you are new to the drone because you can crash a lot and can damage the drone. Be careful flying in any wind. I think that you should fly the drone when the wind is completely still. The drone can move around and crash in the wind.

Dji tello boost combo - Good Drone to learn with.

dji tello boost combo, is ok, it would be nice if the plastic was a bit stronger, the app works fine, make sure you update it. You use your phone to fly and there is no controller, would be good if there was a controller. My son seems happy with it. Sometimes it has error codes with the camera. Camera is ok for what you pay for.

So easy to fly

My husband researched and picked this drone for our nearly 6 year old son for Christmas. He had a cheap drone which was hard to fly and not stable. This one is so much better. It hovers and stays in one spot, flips, goes where you want it to. Can fly inside and the controls via iPad or phone are great. Highly recommend.
