Both the D-Link AV 500 HD Mini and D-Link AV2 1000 HD Powerline adapters are well built, and discreet – you’ll hardly notice them. The AV 500 adapters were a little slow in our tests but about acceptable for most needs - and they are super tiny! The AV2 1000 HD adapters are a bit larger but were blazingly fast when tested, even beating a 1,200Mbps set of Powerline adapters! You don’t get extra Wi-Fi or pass-through power sockets but at these prices the D-Link Powerline adapters are great value, and will certainly speed up your home network.

I've been using these for 8 weeks and they work just the same as if i was plugged straight into the modem. We had to buy these as we moved the study and the baby rooms around and didn't want the modem on the floor so the only other place was the kitchen but my PC has to hardwired as it doesn't have WiFi. it was so easy to set up and i feel no loss of connection speed (mind you I only have ADSL so there is not much too lose) The only downside is the bulkyness hanging from the wall as ours sits above the bench but it could be hidden for others.

Needed to connect my computer in a studio out in the yard which is out of WiFi range. Plugged the units in and had internet straight away. So easy and works perfectly.

Couldn't get our wifi to work above dial up speeds at the far end of the house. the wife wouldn't allow a long Ethernet cable from one end to the other so a friend recommend these.... wow.... Works so well and has solved my issues! Now i can game online and download at super fast speeds at the other end of the house to the router

Does exactly what it says on the box. Setup was about as simple as it gets. Plug them in, pair them and you have ethernet. I am successfully streaming live video feeds from cctv cameras. Ok, so they are not the smallest devices in the world, but still impressive performance from a compact form factor that fits pretty much anywhere.

Good product, for performance best make sure it is not passing through a solar inverter and is on the same circuit.
