The setup was an absolute nightmare. So to start off with it would probably be useful if I stated what my system is. I run a core i5-6600K, 8gb of RAM with a GTX 970 and an ASUS Z-170M Plus motherboard. My Operating system is Windows 10.
Manufacturer: D-Link

I do not recommend for ASUS-p55 mother boards,
If the card is recognized - yes, it works fast; There are issues as the card does not sit properly in PCI-e slot
Installed on Asus P55 mobo; The PCI-e card is NOT snug and moves around and losses connection
This product does not work with Windows 10. D-Link does not provide up to date drivers and as a result a stable connection is not possible on 5Ghz and barely able to keep stable on 2Ghz. Do not recommend this product.
I'm just using Windows default Networking software to connect through the internet and everything if working fine.
The D-Link DWA-582 Wireless adapter has a very strong signal strength; I have not witnessed a single drop in connectivity so far
After installing Windows 7 Pro x64, I did have trouble automatically connecting a couple of startup sessions, but everything if fine now; It may be due to the fact that I installed the hardware before the software which was against the advice of the manual.
Very fast download speed. Windows 10 automatically installed drivers during set up of Windows. Hitting 8.6MB download on STEAM.
Well, added this to my desktop to replace a old and terrible USB wifi adapter I had. This thing is fast, and it's a good price compared to other wireless AC PCIe cards. Even from 2 floors away it sends and receives with a strong signal. I'm running it with Windows 10 and it works just fine.
Easy to install; strong signal; fast data transfer; price
None so far
I always like to stay current to some extent, I know AC1200 isn't new, but any excuse to upgrade... my old card had 2 antennas one broke off. Read the quick install, was up and running in under 10minutes. drivers were shipped on cd good that I maintain an optical drive in my system.
