Ports randomly don't recognize USB sources. Tried to use this for digital media management for a film festival, which involves using LOTS of hard drives at once, and it was so unreliable that I could not use it.

The DUB-H7 allows you to plug in 7 USB 2.0 devices at once, great for a laptop or PC with limited built-in ports. The unit comes with its own narrow style power supply, which doesn't interfere with other plugs in adjacent sockets, and USB 6ft A-B lead to connect the hub to the computer.

I used to buy d-link product all the time and their quality was excellent Over the last year I have purchased 2 D-link products .(1 modem from Best Buy and this Hub) None of the products lasted over 6 months.

After only 2 months I could not get the fast charge ports to work After 3 months Only 2 usb ports work and those can not be found by my computer sometimes

Turning one port into seven certainly alleviates any USB access problems.

for a 7 port usb hub its ok, it does the job for usb hub and good charging for tabelts, but kinda big, and it only usb 2.0, price is ok too

I bought this for replace another one of this that I bought like 4 years ago and just right now starts to disconnect and give some power issues (yup, 4 years later). the good thing is so solid and powerful than the last one.

Excellent little unit - well made and neat. My only gripe would be the documentation. It comes with a wallet full of it, including an 80 page (!) manual which can be summarised as "Plug the leads in. Put each lead into a hole which is the right shape for the plug.

7 ports is sure nice to have. I used some velcro to stick it to my table. Like the other Josh said, fast charge is not clear. I thought something was up when it took over 4 hours to charge my Nexus 7, and it was.

Had a cheapie from china. wont do that again, you just spend three times the money and still have to buy one backed by a good company such as D-link
