Just another SSD, average speeds and this is you get what you pay for in this one. Would recommend price depending, was a really good replacement for my gaming pc.

I've been using this for a while now and can safely say I would not go back to a normal HDD as a boot disc. Booting up my machine is now fast enough I no longer put off reboots. I use this as my main drive and keep media files on a secondary drive where speed is less important and it has made more...
No issues whatsoever, i highly reccomend this product. Its just not the fastest SSD out there but thats fine, its still great
Its a solid state lol Price is great
Just not the best solid state
Fast and reliable SSD, as most Curcial products are. It might not be the fastest one around but works perfectly to replace a regular HDD on and laptop/desktop, and now starting windows and opening programs is a whole lot better. highly recommended.
Incredible performance. I plugged this into my Ultrabook which now just flies along on Windows 8. The transfer speeds are incredible and the laptop boots up in under 10 seconds.
Fast, lightweight, the 480gb version seems to hit the sweet spot between price and capacity. I use mine as a portable drive (without a case) which I plug into a SIIG mini-doc. (I do had a case for transport to protect the drive in my briefcase).
Fast; Highly Compatible; Quiet
Expensive
Recently purchased three BRIX and NUC systems requiring MSATA drives. Liked the first Crucial M500 as boot disk, so bought two more for the other systems. Great price/performance ratio. No issues.
Easy To Install; Fast; Highly Compatible; Quiet; Reliable

There was nothing special or remarkable about installing the device (it did come with two mSATA sized screws tho), and consecutively installing Windows 7 Pro on it was a breeze on my Lenovo Y500.
The previous M4 model by Crucial/Micron was launched back in 2011 and although it offered very good read speeds (up to 500MB/s) it did lack the punch needed in write speeds (up to 260MB/s) and 4KB random IOPS performance (read 45k/write 50k) to compete with the top models by other manufacturers so...
