Works great in Windows 7

I installed the Crucial 120gb SSD in my "custom-built for speed" computer and installed Windows 7, and all my programs and data onto the drive. Works great and no problems so far.

I picked this up at the surprise sale price of $155. I replaced my Plextor M5S 128GB SSD in my desktop (to move into my laptop). I know the speeds of any 128GB SSD is going to be slower than a 240GB one, but this is markedly faster. Highly recommended.

Very fast; High capacity

Would recommend price depending, a good run SSD, if you just need a SSD

Just another SSD, average speeds and this is you get what you pay for in this one. Would recommend price depending, was a really good replacement for my gaming pc.

The speed of this drive is amazing regardless of the type of file you are working with. It is an easy to set up high quality drive. We did a massive amount of research about SSD drives before purchasing and Crucial drives are the very best. They don't disappoint.

Review: Crucial M500 960GB SSD

But even the blue-hued chip giant must have been somewhat surprised by just how cutthroat this SSD marketplace has become. While SSDs may never quite reach parity with HDDs when it comes to price per gigabyte, they have become sufficiently less expensive to make the combination of a small SDD (for...

Today we have in our labs the latest SSD offering by Crucial, the Crucial M500 series. Announced earlier this year at CES, it is the world's first SSD series to use Micron's new 128Gbit MLC NAND die.

Crucial M500 480GB 2.5in internal SSD review

The SSDs that comprise Crucial's new M500 range come in a variety of capacities, from a relatively low 128GB to a large 960GB, but each SSD uses the SATA3 interface, a Marvell 88SS9187 controller and 20nm Micron MLC NAND flash chips.

One of the best things I have bought for a PC ever.

I've been using this for a while now and can safely say I would not go back to a normal HDD as a boot disc. Booting up my machine is now fast enough I no longer put off reboots. I use this as my main drive and keep media files on a secondary drive where speed is less important and it has made more...

1st SSD - happy!

Upgrade for my 2008 MacBook Pro which had mechanical hdd. Very happy with the performance gain. I've read quite a bit about these drives and the 120GB and 240GB are said to have poor write speeds compared to peers. I don't need great writes for my Mac so price was my driver.
