Sound was great for games and music, but not so much for editing. Could have been my card/rev, but it died from a bit of heat. Might consider an external enclosure to prevent issues.

Super sound from these sound cards and for anyone doing any high quality sound editing for a variety of reasons such as film edits etc. Easy to install and very easy to configure. Great enhancement for any high end gaming rig.

I bought this card to use with Windows 10 (currently own X-fi HD Titanium which has no Win 10 drivers) Nothing but problems with this card. First the microphone on the ACM would not work, just made loud garbled crackling noises. Second, the audio was awful!

The sound from this card is fantastic and all the written hype about this card is true! HOWEVER!!!! Under windows 8/8.1 the card is often not detected at all, leaving you to reposition the card into another PCIE slot and wait for the same detection issue to hit that slot, then move it back to the...

This sound card kit is a very nice setup, i just recently built my own pc and put this in.. and i am very impressed by the quality of the audio that comes from it. I never really heard such good quality come from a pc sound card like i have heard from this.

Kick ass Sound Card, but one warning...Make sure your motherboard's firmware can handle it. I had to upgrade BIOS and install latest chipset drivers to get the card to be recognized by windows 7.

If price is no object this is the one. The extras and modes don't really sell the card, its the fidelity of the components. You aren't going go get a better signal to noise anywhere else, and if you have a good enough listening setup, you can hear the difference.

By Vance I purchased this ZxR to use with my Sennheiser PC G4ME ZERO headset. I had read other users complaining of sound degredation when using the ACM (Audio Control Module) to connect their devices to and that they recommended connecting directly to the sound card.

The best sound card you can buy but the base setting is too high but you can reduce it. If you need a sound card this is a excellent choice.
