It was a bit difficult to remove from initial packaging. Package arrived earlier than expected and allowed me to rebuild my computer with the necessary upgrades the same day my other parts arrived. Great product, well worth the money, airflow increased and dropped my computer temps by almost 25%.

Unfortunately unable to test as still waiting on the rest of my rig... but came with adhesive bottom unprotected on inner devices... commander module stuck to the tempered glass... Trying to carefully remove it without damaging or breaking anything...

Beautiful!

The 500d SE is by far the most beautiful cases I've owned. So much, in fact, that I often find myself just admiring it! Pros: -Visually stunning. Sleek smoked tempered glass along with RGB fans will "wow" your family and friends every time -Super accessible with case doors -The quality-of-life...

Corsair Obsidian Series 500D Review

The 500D is a welcome return for Corsair to more premium cases, and it feels like a worthy addition to the much-loved Obsidian Series. The combination of brushed aluminium and tempered glass is hardly revolutionary, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work very well, and we like what Corsair has done...

Corsair Obsidian 500D

The Corsair Obsidian 500D can be a great upgrade to enthusiast looking to build a powerful rig with high-end cooling systems.

USB 3.1 Type-C port on the front I/O panel; Tempered glass side window doors are hinged; Great build quality

Only two fans included; No lighting and fan hub; Expensive

Corsair Obsidian Series 500D Mid-Tower Case

Corsair hardly needs an introduction here: The company is a key provider of enthusiast-grade components over the past two decades, with a major following among the PC performance community. Today, the company is rolling out the latest addition to its Obsidian line of premium computer chassis.

Very well-designed; Hinged tempered-glass side panels; Great fit and finish; Great looks

Price; for some; Single 120mm intake fan; Lacking cooling performance

Corsair Obsidian Series 500D

When Corsair announced its arrival in the PC chassis arena, it did so with a bang. Who remembers the epic Obsidian Series 800D The beautiful Graphite Series 600T Or the super-sleek Obsidian Series 550D

Sleek; uncluttered design; Easy access hinged doors; Removable fan/radiator trays; Solid build quality throughout; I/O panel includes USB 3.1 Type-C; Good cable management

Top and front dust filters are fiddly; Only two bundled fans; Does little to contain noise

Today we'll be taking a break from our typical PC hardware benchmarking sessions to check out a slick new compu

Unmatched build quality for a case in this category; Sleek looks courtesy of glass and aluminum; Clearance for virtually all hardware

Expensive for a mid-tower chassis at $140 and it doesn't have the longest feature list (you may want extra fans or LED lighting etc.

Corsair Obsidian 500D PC Case Review

The new Obsidian is a pretty awesome chassis. The side-panel door concept that can open up at the front side and fitted with tempered glass really is the icing on top of the cake. Design and looks, however, are personal. I totally dig the dark looks, but then again some might disagree with me.
