Coros Pace 3 review: This light running watch is better value than many Garmins

With route creation tools, tons of running metrics, an extremely light, comfortable form factor and music storage, the Coros Pace 3 undercuts the likes of Garmin and Polar in the training stakes to deliver an excellent running companion. If you’re not interested in the likes of on-watch payments or Spotify controls, the Pace 3 is a very tempting buy at this price.

The Coros Pace 3 is a really fantastic little multi-sports watch that promises a lot and delivers on most fronts. It's a great option for runners looking for more than the basics or someone that wants a multi-sports watch without the premium price tag. If you look at it against the competition, something like the Garmin Forerunner 55 arguably offers more user-friendly software, while training features on something like the Polar Pacer feel like a slight step up on what you get here. Pace 2 owners might not see it as a definite upgrade unless you've been left underwhelmed by features like GPS support, wrist-based heart-rate tracking or care about having more smartwatch smarts.
