I was disappointed with the fragrance, as it smells like any other cheaper perfume. Aromatics Elixir is my favourite perfume and I thought this one would be as excllusive as that. It will make a gift for someone though, so all is not lost.

It's an easy going and distinctive fragrance. Definitely purchasing again.

I've been wearing Aromatics Elixir for over 40 years. I was 18 and working at the Clinique counter at Bullock's in Westwood near UCLA. When I first discovered it came in a dark brown medicinal looking bottle and smelled fabulous.

A dark and shining bottle hides hides a potion inside: it's the dark side of Aromatics elixir. Maybe stronger maybe deeper maybe meant for the night' who knows attracted by the container and by the name, I sprayed this scent on the mouillette and on my skin waiting to smell something really...

I've been wearing Clinique Aromatics Elixir for years and decided to try this new fragrance. I love it too. It's smells good with a sensual, soft and pleasing aroma. It's not overpowering. Now I have two favorites from Clinique! Another good buy from Overstock!

Tested it just on the paper unfortunately. Anyway, if you are nostalgic of classic "White/Musky/Aldehyidic" scents a la Cacharel LouLou, Anais Anais, Biagiotti Roma, vintage D&G Pour Femme, Parah or Dior Addict, Aromatics In Black could bè a more simplistic and actual choice on the theme.

Discovered this variety of Aromatics last summer so this is my second bottle. Absolutely love it for daytimes as it's a bit lighter than original Aromatics which I still love for evenings. Both last really well which means no need to carry a bottle around for top ups.
