this flash is a definite plus

This flash has added a depth of color to my pictures especially the pictures that I take inside. I really can see the difference. I'm so glad that I chose this flash.

Attach Securely; Flexible; Durable; Small lightweight

Awesome Little Flash!

When I first started shooting hated using my Canon XT's built in flash. It drained the battery, you could not do continuous shooting, and the flash washed everything out because it was flashing directly. But this little flash is a champ!

-Small Size; Great dedicated flash; Not cumbersome; The ability to angle the flash to diffuse it is great; The feel of the flash is not bulky so the camera still feels comfortable in your hands

it is a bit pricey but the quality you are buying if totally worth it

Easy to use and control; very impressive, versatile flash unit.

I was considering buying either the Canon 270 Speedlite or the Metz 36; I decided to quiz the staff at the Fountain Gate store after their wonderful help with getting back into photography and upgrade to digital. A quick chat with a gentleman at FG Teds had me sold on the Speedlite.

Easy to use; Compact

Good little flash with a swivel head + telephoto. Loading quickly. However, I do not seem able to get it to work as an auxiliary light for autofocus. Will try to update the firmware on the camera.

Good value. Takes up little space in camera bag.

I really like this flash. It has just enough height to avoid causing a lens shadow on close-up subjects. It's a good step-up from the built-in flash, more power plus height, without the bulkiness of the 430 ex and bigger flashes. I use the built-in flash a lot but sometimes it's just not enough.

Canon Speedlite 270EX II Flash Review

The Canon Speedlite 270EX II Flash takes over the small/light/inexpensive position in Canon's flash lineup, replacing the Canon Speedlite 270EX Flash , which not long ago supplanted the Canon Speedlite 220EX Flash .

Great upgrade from basic DSLR flash!

This unit is an good upgrade from the basic flash included on most DSLRs. However it may leave you wanting a better flash when you see what some of...

Good Price; Portable; Can act as wireless remote; Can flash wirelessly as well; Includes stand

Flash output is weak at times; but still better than the stock flash on a DSLR
