Piece Of Junk

Two flaps broke off in the first five minutes with careful handling .The two ways it said to connect to wi fit did not work so I found a third way to do it. Then it said that the brand new cartridge that came with it was the wrong size then empty !!

I used this at a family party to share photos. It was connected and printing all day, and except for a problem with a usb hub (not the printer's fault) it worked flawlessly. having the prints come out "dry" and ready to handle was great for sharing and showing around the pictures, the colors were...

Cant connect unless you have wifi.

Just bought this today to take overseas. I plan to use it in places that dont have wifi. You are supposed to be able to connect directly to it with the unit itself being the wifi. No-one in our family can direct connect. It works great through the home wifi but thats about it.

Cropping

Would have given it 5 stars if it did not crop edges of my photo's taken in landscape. It crops about 1/4 inch off top of the shot compared to the actual image. Tried everything to prevent this but to no avail. Also, it does not appear to read some older SD Cards

Canon Selphy CP1300 Wireless Compact Photo Printer Review

The Canon Selphy CP1300 Wireless Compact Photo Printer is an incremental upgrade to the Editors' Choice Canon Selphy CP1200. A slightly larger screen, an improved user interface and search, and a way to collaborate with friends on collages over a Wi-Fi connection are among this photo printer's added features. The CP1300 retains its predecessor's portability, variety of connection choices, and good print quality, and it inherits the CP1200's Editors' Choice. A Giant Among Small Photo Printers Few small-format printers with a size and feature set similar to the CP1300 are on the market, and older models of this kind are seldom refreshed. Instead, tiny (pocket-size, for the most part) printers that produce wallet-size prints (from images sent wirelessly from phones or tablets) have become the rage. Most use what's called Zero INK (ZINK) technology, which traditionally has produced murky—mediocre at best—prints, but which HP has tweaked to boost print quality considerably in its la...

Nice unit.

Bought six months ago - - - Nice product. Now buying a second for a friend as a gift. It basically works. Connects well to Wi-Fi network, and you can print directly from a phone or PC over a network. The unit prints photos that are just shy of 4x6 - mildly annoyed it isnt a true 4 x 6.

Excellent print quality, with a few minor issues

As a keen photographer I was dubious that this could match external prints, and I wasn't expecting it to as it's a home product created for ease of use, at a surprisingly good price. I was dumb founded (and still am) at the quality of the prints.

Produces bright and sharp prints

Good quality prints but may take some effort to get good colour matching with what you see on your screen. A bit fiddly to get it to connect and print from Windows 10 (ended up using USB cable not WiFi) but was easy to get it to print from Android phones.
