This machine seemed like a good deal with the initial rebates and the good quality printing. The problem is Canon has engineered the machine to be a constant cash flow stream of consumables. The print heads (yes, referred to as consumables by Canon) only last two years.

Bought canon pro 2000 to replace epson 7800. Set -up 3/10/19,red nozzle printed cyan,after many head cleanings got red better,did aligment,nozzle check,canon ok to print ,printed on canon paper and profiles ,color not as good as epson,but jod late,first print look ok..

Set up easily. The 5 test prints you do for printer head alignment show some not to scale or incorrect shots of what to load. You load normal 8.5 x 11 paper (included with the printer) in portrait mode.
