Perfect Camera

I have used this camera for everything from wild life, sports, astro, macro, portraits and even low light events. Shooting my nephews football evening games at 10,000 ISO scared me but the results were great. I was easily able to manage the noise even at 10k ISO.

Fantastic Camera for Sport and Wildlife

This is a seriously good camera. It is ideal for sports and wildlife and the autofocus is awesome. Took pics of a dog running towards me and in 2 seconds the 20 plus pics were all in focus. Reassuringly heavy, new sensor, 10 frames per second, all make this a great camera.

10 Frames Per Second; 64 Cross Point Autofocus; Bright LCD; Cf Slot; Comfortable Controls; Crop Sensor F Lngh X 16; Customisable Controls; Easy To Use; Exposure Bracketing Funct; Fast Shutter Speed; Gps; Great Image Quality; High Iso Capability; Sd Slot; Strong Construction; Video 1080p; Weather...

Crop Sensor; Eos 5d Mk 3 Not Much More; No Articulating Screen; Price High

Absolute ripper of a DSLR

Just started using my new Canon EOS 7D MKII, an update to my 60D & 70D. I thought the 70D was fantastic but was blown away by the 7D MKII. Blisteringly fast Auto Focus and 10 frames per second, it's a machine gun after the 70D's "mere" 7 frames per second.

An absolutely superb camera!

For the last 2 years I have been looking to upgrade my Canon 50d. I have tried the 5D Mark III; the 60d, and others, but I first tried the 7D Mark II after hearing how well it performed photographing birds and wildlife, one of my passions.

Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Fast Shutter Speed; Good Image Quality; Good Image Stabilization; High ISO Performance; Large Clear LCD; Quiet

Canon EOS 7D Mark II Review

The Canon 7D Mark II offers good image quality, excellent performance and a solid design at a good price. It's a great option for budget-conscious photographers who are already invested in Canon's ecosystem of lenses and accessories.

This camera has many more cross-type focus points than anything else we reviewed

Low-light performance suffers as a result of this camera's small APS-C sensor

Canon 7D MII DSLR Review: Superfast but Finicky

The Canon 7D Mark II is an incredibly powerful, exceptionally fast camera and the fastest remotely affordable DSLR on the market. However, its image quality is just below what you'd expect from this type of camera, and as a result, less-expensive cameras like the Canon 70D and recent high-end...

Fastest autofocus and image processing of any APS-C DSLR camera we've evaluated; Fastest capture rate from any DSLR under $4,000; Translucent LCD overlays helpful information on optical preview

Priced as high as some full-frame cameras; Video capability doesn't match that of lower-priced rivals; More noise in high-ISO/low-light conditions than from Canon's own, cheaper 70D

Canon's EOS 7D DSLR camera was regarded as one of the best prosumer cameras of its time. Five years later, DSLRs, point-and-shoots and the like have already evolved, and the 7D became a relic of a bygone era.

Image quality; Fast autofocus

Price; Shutter button

Canon EOS 7D Mark II Review

Canon certainly can't be accused of having a short product cycle with the EOS 7D series. It is five years since the original Canon EOS 7D was launched, but the follow-up is finally here.

Fast 10 fps continuous shooting with large buffer; Ultra-fast autofocusing system with 65 cross-type AF points; Crop-frame camera giving more reach with telephoto lenses

No built-in Wi-Fi; No touchscreen or tilting LCD
