The advertising, pictures and text around this product - including reviews, (clicked through from an internet search) led me to belive that this was an air purifier, not a filter for an air purifier. Yes, my mistake, but I need to exchange it or get a refund. I have written to the Good Guys twice via their webform (only written option) and they have yet to respond.

Does a great job, reliable, and capable of removing heavy bushfire smoke from a medium sized room.

Best feature is the virtual silence when on low setting - I am a music teacher and extraneous noise is the enemy. The 'colour-coded' ring that indicates airborne particulate matter is a great indicator of the amount of 'dirt in the air'. Very happy with the unit.

We find these filters last between 6-12 months. Our purifier is used every night for approx 13 hours. We found that it has helped with any allergy we may have, eg sore throat, runny nose or coughing/sneezing that can occur on waking from sleep. I have now stocked up on filters so we do not run out as I am very confident in the efficiency of them.
