Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar Review

The Bose Smart Ultra is the company's top-of-the-line soundbar, which you might have already guessed given its $899 price. Though expensive, the 5.1.2-channel Smart Ultra is packed with features and able to put out detailed surround sound. In addition, its expandability, many connection options, and built-in Amazon Alexa voice assistant earn it our Editors’ Choice award, unseating the Sonos Arc ($899), which lacks Google Cast support and a wired subwoofer output. If you want a truly all-encompassing surround experience you need to pay more for a system with satellites and a subwoofer like the JBL Bar X1300 ($1,799), but for a one-piece speaker setup, the Smart Ultra reigns supreme.Design: Slim and Shiny The Smart Ultra comes in black or white and is fairly slender at 2.3 by 44.1 by 4.2 inches (HWD). It features a metal grille that wraps around the front and sides, and a flat black top with a clear, reflective acrylic panel running across it. The panel has two cutouts near the side...

The Bose Smart Ultra is a powerful one-piece soundbar that delivers big sound with plenty of spatial audio detail, and ample audio streaming features.
