I can say I have been pretty impressed with the Bissell Icon Pet Stick Vac. Overall it is definitely better than the Dyson V7 Stick Vac that I had previously. It lasts way longer and the quality feels better overall in regards to the Dyson. The only reason that it has lost a star is there is a small hose in the head of the vacuum and the hose has split already, which is now affecting the efficiency of the vacuum when used with that head. Ive only had it approximately 3-4 months. Ive only just noticed this has happened on this product, so I have not dealt with trying to have it replaced yet. Hopefully being a well known brand and being known as a brand of high quality, I hope that it manages to be dealt with quickly and without drama. I obviously can't comment on my dealing with the company yet.

Great suction and very impressive pickup on pet hair (I have two cats). Works equally well on carpet and tiled floors and the lights on the motorised head are very helpful for showing up fine particles on hard floors. Weight is manageable, collection storage is good (and dust seal really works) and it runs quieter than expected. So very happy with all that! Only slight downside is that the running time of up to 50 minutes refers to running it on low and I cant really work out why I would do that. Otherwise battery life is much shorter so just enjoy the excuse to vacuum in batches!
