BenQ TH585 Review

At $599, the BenQ TH585 is one of the company's lower-cost 1080p home projectors, but it gives you a lot for your money. BenQ lists it as a home entertainment model, which means it's designed with gaming in mind, as well as for watching TV and movies in rooms with ambient light, as opposed to watching in a traditional home theater with lights off. For games, it offers low input lag, to steal fewer microseconds from your reaction time, and a Game picture mode that does an excellent job of maintaining shadow detail in the dark corners where dangers and rewards lurk. BenQ's TH585 projector delivers low input lag for gaming, enough brightness for a large image that stands up to ambient light, and good color accuracy and contrast at a low price.

Aggressively priced for what it does; Bright enough to throw a big image that can stand up to ambient light; Excellent color accuracy and contrast for the price; Low input lag means fast reaction time for gamers; Supports 3D

Maximum input resolution limited to 1,920 by 1,080 for video sources, and 1,920 by 1,200 for PC connections; No HDR support

BenQ TH585 ATV Projector TH585 review

After using the BenQ TH585 projector for computer use, gaming, and watching video, my 55″ livingroom TV looks tiny! This projector has me seriously reconsidering my living room entertainment setup. Overall I’m very pleased with its performance and image quality.

Ability to project a large size, Very Nice Color

Better Quick Start Guide, Quick Start Guide Screen ratio chart is only in metric., Printed Manual would be nice
