Beats Studio3 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones - Matte Black MQ562PA/A review

If you are after good-looking wireless noise-cancelling headphones then you will not be sad to have gone for the Studio3s. They deliver a nice sound, though not audiophile by any means, and are no longer bass monsters.

Superb wireless performance; top-notch battery; headphone socket

No auto shutdown; disappointing mid-range; hot ears!

Beats Studio3 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones - Matte Black MQ562PA/A review

Beats has taken a good wireless noise-canceling headphone and significantly increased its performance.

The Beats Studio3 Wireless offers improved sound quality, noise canceling and battery life from its predecessor in the same sturdy design; Apple's W1 chip makes pairing with Apple devices dead simple.

Design is the same as previous model's; Does not fold flat and carrying case is somewhat bulky.

Beats Studio3 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones - Skyline Collection - Shadow Grey MQUF2PA/A review

Improved noise cancelling makes this the best pair of over-ear cans for iPhone owners - and they’re pretty damn good for the rest of us too

Excellent noise cancelling; Incredible battery life; Apple users get great connectivity

The best tech reserved for Apple devices; Not booming; but still bassy; Bold looks not to all tastes

Beats Studio3 Wireless : A worthy Bose QuietComfort 35 contender?

Beats' Studio 3 Wireless are easy to pair with Apple devices, but other headphones offer superior sound quality

Seamless Bluetooth pairing; Long-lasting battery life; Excellent build quality;

Noise cancellation isn't as effective as the QuietComfort 35's; Sound quality could be better, for the price;

Beats Studio3 Wireless review

Beats could easily have added a W1 chip to the Studio 2 and called it a day, but the Studio 3 goes so much further. Pure ANC is impressive, coping with scenarios that would tax most noise-cancelling cans, while not impacting the sound signature when you aren’t using the tech. It makes all the difference when switching between several iOS devices, and wireless range remains top notch. The instantly recognisable looks won’t be for everyone, and the overly warm sound that emphasises bass are going to be a sticking point for audiophiles, so these aren't a guaranteed must-buy. If you’re an iPhone owner, though, these are a fantastic set of cans. And even if you’re not, the superb battery life is tough to beat.

Excellent noise cancelling; Incredible battery life; Apple users get great connectivity;

The best tech reserved for Apple devices; Not booming, but still bassy; Bold looks not to all tastes;

Beats Studio3 Wireless review: Beats' best headphone looks the same, performs better

The Beats Studio3 Wireless reviewed here was released in September 2017, and it remains one of our top picks for wireless noise-canceling headphones. While we don't rate it as highly as the Sony WH-1000XM2 and Bose QuietComfort 35 II, the price for the Beats Studio3 Wireless has dropped in recent months -- you can get it for less than $225 (£200 or AU$400) online. That makes it a more attractive option in this category.

Beats has taken a good wireless noise-canceling headphone and significantly increased its performance.

The Beats Studio3 Wireless offers improved sound quality, noise canceling and battery life from its predecessor in the same sturdy design; Apple's W1 chip makes pairing with Apple devices dead simple; Performs well as a headset for making phone calls and and stacks up well against competing models from a sound standpoint.

Design is the same as previous model's; Does not fold flat and carrying case is somewhat bulky.
