This is the part of the review where I mention how these headphones are expensive and then try to decide if their features, quality and performance can justify the cost. I purchased my Beats Studios for 229 USD from some random e-tailer I found on Froogle.

Let me first explain that I am a semi-casual listener. And by that I mean that I love live music however prefer the "clarity" that the studio will bring to a band. Also I am more of a rock & hip-hop/rock listener, so the depth of bass and overall balance of things is very important to me.

The Beats Studio headphones are fairly comfortable and are designed to stand out from the crowd. Unfortunately, the bass tends to drown out other sound, leading to a tiring listening experience. The fact that the Beats Studio headphones can't work without batteries also doesn't count in its favour.

Here the look succeeds far more authentically - genuinely unique, indeed, with a blood red cable and two-section plug, while the closed-back headshells and band are indeed again plastic, but more solidly so here, comfortably-padded around ear and cranium, yet still able to fold inwards for...

okay so i got theses for christmas and loved them. but all of a sudden the sound started to get all stiticy and there not fake cause i got them from [@] my freinds had the same thing happen to them go for the mixr!
