Audio-Technica built the CKR7TW earbuds for sound, but forgot about usability

Airbuds are one of the preferred items when it comes to listening devices today, but it does receive a certain level of ridicule from some. Despite the reactions they've been receiving, Airbuds are still a big hit, leaving the premium audio to respond.
The Audio-Technica ATH-CKR7TW sound neat, are well crafted, and have a good look. But the lack of touch controls or the looping of external noise through the internal microphone (Hear-Through Technology) makes the in-ears look a bit old-fashioned.
Overall, I think the ATH-CKR7TW is a great first entry for Audio Technica in high-end true wireless scenes. There isn't many of products in this class, with the greatest competitor being the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless and Master & Dynamic MW07, both offer their own take for audiophile market.

The Audio-Technica ATH-CKR7TW are a decent stab at what is a burgeoning area for earphones. The touch controls are responsive and there's a big battery life available, especially compared to rivals.
