Asustor AS6302T Review

Designed for personal and small business use, the Asustor AS6302T ($369) is a two-bay NAS device that uses Intel's new Apollo Lake platform and HDMI 2.0 connectivity to serve up 4K video, photos, and music, while providing RAID level protection for your data. It supports a wealth of mobile and web-based apps, but its file transfer performance is mediocre and installation can be tricky. At $369 it's a bit pricey, considering you'll have to supply your own drives. Design and Features The AS6302T ($269.00 at Amazon) offers two 3.5-inch drive bays with quick-release trays and will support up to 20TB of storage. This NAS is powered by Intel's new dual-core 2GHz Apollo Lake Celeron CPU and comes with 2GB of DDR3 memory, which can be expanded to 8GB. It supports RAID 0, RAID 1, and JBOD configurations.
