Recommended to customer on the 4star review and price. As described I am ashamed of the decision to refer customer to this monitor based on the lack of a mic and the poor speaker performance. I am giving her the choice of returning and then she will have to pay the shipping and restocking too.

The picture is great and not an issue; The monitor is attractive

SPEAKERS ARE HORRIBLE: Super low volume from speakers even when app volume and computer volume turned all the way up; No volume on monitor interface; If you are thinking about cleaning wire from the desk by using the built in speakers think again, low to no volume; NO MICROPHONE ON THE WEBCAM!!!?

The computer screen is fantastic and the speakers are relatively decent but the camera will not work. The installation disk states that its installed but wont open at all.

Great monitor but the webcam is not compatible with USB 3.0 - not cool ASUS you are better than that!

I recommended this to my neighbor, who bought a new Mac mini to replace his aging iMac, particularly for the integrated WebCam. In general I'm pleased with it, the camera works with the built in drivers of the Mac, but the camera is missing a microphone. Luckily I had one I could give him.

Good quality monitor. The webcam is a bonus though most people would no doubt use a better quality one seperately. I have two of these monitors and would deffinitely buy Asus again next time.

This monitor is in a wide screen format and has an amazing quality of picture and richness to the colours. It was easy to install and comes with speakers and webcam. Would recommend this monitor to anyone, in particular, those who like bigger monitors and appreciate high high definition and...

Only thing lacking is the sound of the speakers . They are not loud enough at all and they are on the back of the monitor which makes it even worse .
