I got these for a mobile Point Of Sales system. Whenever we moved it to the other room the network speed would drop causing connectivity issues. Added the ASUS USB ac56 to the computer and the network worked flawlessly wherever we moved the computer in the store. fast and great wireless range.

The only way to make it work is use some 3rd-party software that only kind of works. You will struggle to get this thing working at all. It doesn't do 5ghz wifi signal at all, no matter what sketchy websites you download files from, none of them will get 5ghz working.

Im happy with this product, it was easy to set up and has good speed. However the usb stand was a let down, i lost speed useing the stand. If you buy this make sure that you can plug into the MB and will not need the stand.

I use this device to replace my old wifi pci adaptor bought from Amazon (300Mbps 802.11n PC Desktop wireless N Wifi PCI Adapter). The old one has inconsistent connection and downloading speed, with spike lags and disconnection occasionally, which bothers me since I play online games.

Love the range and speed as this product allows me to work on my computer even in the basement and another computer in the detached garage! Just wished that the size is a little more compact in terms of its length.

With the exception of dropped connections, this is an amazing USB adapter. Connection drops happen once every 100 so times so its a small price to pay. My laptop was getting 5Mbps before, now it is around 110Mbps which is around what my service provider provides.

Before I bought this I did a lot of research into this USB adapter and on another website like memory express it showed 4 stars in posted reviews. But on the memory express site it got bad reviews that I just decided to ignore and go and buy and try it out.

The software is slow,lagging, and glitchy; The original windows 7 software works way better but when It comes to the signal to stay connected, it can't connect to a faraway connection that my cell phone can connect to and my cell phone has similar antennas as this USB adapter
