I was replacing an older Linksys Wireless-N router and the biggest issue I had was range and stability. The Asus RT-AC68U has been solid for about a week now. I am most impressed with the range.

I've heard issues about DOA devices and ones that die after a few months - I've only had it running for about a week now and there have been no issues.

Setup was fairly painless and should be easy to follow for those not familiar or perhaps comfortable with trying to configure a router

Purchased 12/29/15, died 8/22/17; No power; Came home today and the internet was having issues with verifying security certificates; I power cycled the modem and router, but power never came back on for the router; I tried plugging it into several different outlets, but to no avail.

Connected easily to my Virginmedia super hub 2 in modem mode; Very reliable so far, not had reboot once; Set up guest networks without a hitch so far

Quite expensive i think as this is an old model

My previous wireless router gave 1 or 2 bars to one of my computers. This router, gives 5 bars. It was easy to set up. I like its external antennae because I can maximize the radiation pattern without moving the unit.

Router has decent antennas and all the standard features, usb storage works well and the AI mesh capabilities can stretch your home coverage a little further

This was a great buy for a router.

Easy to Use

Got this today. This is a high end router. It has got a lot of capability, far beyond my original purpose for buying it. -aicloud -DDNS -Printer server -Connect a separate USB drive -VPN It's also fairly easy to use, just a little fiddly depending on what you're doing.
