Replaced an AirPort extreme with this router, the speeds are much better. I had a few dead zones in my house, especially on the 5G network, but this router took care of that. Relatively easy to set up.

As my old RT-N56U was getting a little long in the tooth, I decided to upgrade to this unit. Initially it worked great. Better coverage, faster speeds, what else could you want In the last few weeks, I noticed that the system was getting a little flaky.
My friend needed me to order one for them & it happened to be on sale. I asked how it was & they said they hated themselves for not getting this product sooner. I checked back hoping to get the same great deal i.e huge markdown + free shipping.
Made a 1-2 Mbps difference which is "yuge" in my rural area & improved coverage "bigly

Got this today. This is a high end router. It has got a lot of capability, far beyond my original purpose for buying it. -aicloud -DDNS -Printer server -Connect a separate USB drive -VPN It's also fairly easy to use, just a little fiddly depending on what you're doing.
The Asus DSL-AC68U may be expensive, but it is flexible. It has a built in ADSL and VDSL modem, and one of its LAN ports can serve either as a Gigabit Ethernet or a WAN port. This means you'll still be able to use the router if you switch from ADSL to a cable or fibre service, or vice versa; the...
Im using it for a gaming PC, has to be wireless, so am using the Asus instead, its plugged into the router ethernet port. its better than the standard modem, as good as wired!!
Had it for a few months upgraded from an archer c5. Range is about the same but the quality of the signal is much better . My brother was getting around 80mbps but with the switch he now gets around 200mbps
This router has it all. Works flawlessly on my act broadband service to provide the best speed on the 5ghz band. Also supports video streaming without any hickups. Highly recommended
Have done all the firmware updates. Thought that maybe it was corrected but it still provides poor throughput after 1 day and then barfs it all a couple of days later. If I had paid $50, I would not be so bitter but it was over $200 on special!
Excellent visibility into which devices are consuming data. Great manageability Worked fine for 8 months
Got tired, I guess Required reboots every 3 days, sometimes wouldn't recover on the first reboot; Keep in mind these are physical reboots; When you are on the road, there is no accessing the network remotely as it is cratered
Set up went very smooth! Up a and running in minutes! All devices work quickly and with no drops!
