Great router, very surprised as to how easy to setup it was!

Very good piece of kit, originally I bought the DSL version of this router (one that has the modem built in) and it was a nightmare so I sent it back and picked up this model, If you are on BT Infinity you will need the old Open Reach white modem to provide the internet and then this routes it to...

excelent router

I have 1 of there routers loaded with dd-wrt and running 3 separate VLANS into separate switches. The wireless gives good coverage and stable connections - all in all a good buy

Review: Asus' 802.11ac modem-router brings its A-game

Asus has made a name for itself in the router game, typically providing high-performance units with plenty of flexibility. The DSL-AC68U continues the tradition. It's rated at 1,900Mbps -- that is, a single 802.11AC stream capable of 1,300Mbps, combined with a 2.4GHz stream rated up to 600Mbps.

Asus continues its strong showing with its high performing, extensively optioned router; Its VDSL capability could mean future-proofing for some

The price will sting; and for those with USB plans; you only get one port

Asus DSL-AC68U review

The Asus DSL-AC68U may be expensive, but it is flexible. It has a built in ADSL and VDSL modem, and one of its LAN ports can serve either as a Gigabit Ethernet or a WAN port. This means you'll still be able to use the router if you switch from ADSL to a cable or fibre service, or vice versa; the...

Asus RT-AC68U Dual-band Wireless-AC1900 Gigabit Router

If you're looking for an 802.11ac router with great range and throughput, Asus' RT- AC68U Dual-band Wireless-AC1900 Gigabit Router ($199.99) topped our tests on both measures. It's also got solid small business features and a highly polished interface.

Topped our speed and range tests in 802.11ac mode; Advanced features suited for small business; Clean, polished user management interface

Not much benefit over previous models for networks with only 802.11n wireless clients; No automatic notification of new firmware; Non-removable stand

Asus RT-AC68U review

Much like its RT-AC66U precursor, Asus's RT-AC68U Dual Band Wireless AC1900 Gigabit Router resides at the high end of the consumer router category. That said, the high price equates to remarkable performance, compliments of some upgraded internal components.

ASUS RT-AC68U Review

ASUS' RT line of routers has developed a reputation for outstanding speeds and high quality, and the company has made significant improvements with each generation. The $219 ASUS RT-AC68U is the current result of that refining process.

Fast; Excellent throughput; Thoughtful design; Powerful firmware; Easy access to files away from home

Slow at 5 feet; Costly cloud sync

Asus RT-AC68U 802.11ac Dual-Band Wireless Router Review

As we start to take a look at some of the next generation wireless routers, with speeds that are far superior to those of yesteryear, it is crystal clear now that no longer do we have to worry about our wireless connections acting as a huge bottleneck in our heavily connected and technology driven...

Superior wireless signal strength and throughput speed; Dual-WAN capability with fail over protection and load balancing; Mobile applications for access to USB storage and router setup; More than capable of delivering the power needed for the next couple of years; Highly reputable brand when it...

Wireless adaptors capable of operating at the same high speeds are very limited at the moment; Unsecured wireless networks out of the box are not wise – basic security at least is far better; Not necessarily the first name you would think of when it comes to networking

Maybe?

First one I received was DOA, no lights, nothing. Tried to trouble shoot on ASUS website, not much help. Tried to call ASUS tech support, their phone menu is terrible, finally navigated my way through, no one there on weekends. New one seems to be working fine.
