Good product while it worked and was easy to setup, but died after about 18 months

I've heard issues about DOA devices and ones that die after a few months - I've only had it running for about a week now and there have been no issues.

Setup was fairly painless and should be easy to follow for those not familiar or perhaps comfortable with trying to configure a router

Purchased 12/29/15, died 8/22/17; No power; Came home today and the internet was having issues with verifying security certificates; I power cycled the modem and router, but power never came back on for the router; I tried plugging it into several different outlets, but to no avail.

Worked Great For A Month And A Half

As my old RT-N56U was getting a little long in the tooth, I decided to upgrade to this unit. Initially it worked great. Better coverage, faster speeds, what else could you want In the last few weeks, I noticed that the system was getting a little flaky.

AiMesh Review Revisited (With Asus RT-AC86U and RT-AC68U)

What is AiMesh The AiMesh is an ambitious, new technology developed by Asus which allows the creation of home-based WiFi mesh systems using two or more Asus routers. Unlike the dedicated WiFi mesh systems available from most, if not all large networking manufacturers (yes, including Asus), where...

Asus DSL-AC68U Router Review

This is the router many people have been waiting for. The DSL-AC68U is essentially the but with an integrated VDSL2 fibre optic modem. Unlike the majority of routers, this means the DSL-AC68U is a single box replacement for your ISP-supplied router and one that comes with a barnstorming AC1900...

Strong short and long range wireless performance; Intuitive setup; Integrated VDSL2 modem; All-in-one upgrade on an ISP supplied router

Edged out by dedicated AC1900 routers; UI a little dated; Rivals cheaper if the integrated modem isn't key; Only one USB port

Asus RT-AC68U Dual-band Wireless-AC1900 Gigabit Router

You probably don't need such an advanced home networking device like the new Asus RT-AC68U Dual-band Wireless-AC1900 Gigabit Router, but you want it, and when you get it, you'll love it. This router is an excellent upgrade to the already-excellent RT-AC66U that came out a year ago.

The Asus RT-AC68U Dual-band Wireless-AC1900 Gigabit Router features powerful hardware, faster Wi-Fi technology, and useful features; The router delivers in all categories

The Asus RT-AC68U is expensive; not wall-mountable; and not everyone will immediately benefit from its new and faster Wi-Fi standards

Awesome router - Highly Recommended

Replaced an AirPort extreme with this router, the speeds are much better. I had a few dead zones in my house, especially on the 5G network, but this router took care of that. Relatively easy to set up.

Works as advertised

My previous wireless router gave 1 or 2 bars to one of my computers. This router, gives 5 bars. It was easy to set up. I like its external antennae because I can maximize the radiation pattern without moving the unit.

Asus DSL-AC68U review

The Asus DSL-AC68U may be expensive, but it is flexible. It has a built in ADSL and VDSL modem, and one of its LAN ports can serve either as a Gigabit Ethernet or a WAN port. This means you'll still be able to use the router if you switch from ADSL to a cable or fibre service, or vice versa; the...
